What is the name of the largest flower?
titan arum (Amorphophallus titanum)

One of the most spectacular plants to be found in the wet tropics zone of the Princess of Wales Conservatory is the titan arum. With its huge flowering structure (inflorescence) rising some 3m above the ground and its single immense leaf, it certainly is a giant among plants, as its name suggests. Reply:It seems you are receiving mixed answers. If you are looking for the largest single flower, that would be Rafflesia. The titan arum is far larger, but only qualifies as the largest unbranched inflorescence. Meanwhile, the Talipot palm has the largest branched inflorescence. It all depends on how you define "flower."
