Is there a plant or flower named Dewey?

My sweet dog is old and dying. He is being put to rest on Thursday. His name is Dewey. I was wondering if there is a plant or flower named Dewey that I could plant next to him? Does anyone know?

Is there a plant or flower named Dewey?

Reply:no but I'm sorry to hear about your loss
Reply:"Dewey Blue" is the common nickname for an ornamental beach grass (Panicum amarum). It grows to about 3 feet tall and has pretty blue flowers at the end of the summer. It usually grows in sandy locations from coastal Connecticut down to Florida. If you live in a climate that can tolerate it, you can plant it in a sandy container, rather than directly in the ground. Your local garden supply center probably has an assortment of attractive containers.

I am very sorry for the loss of your dog, I hope this information helps.
