Thank you very much!!!

Can anyone tell me the name of this flower?
That is a flower from a Hosta. There are literally 100's of different species, sub species, sports, and named cultivars of Hosta's so it's impossible to narrow it down any more than that, but it's definitely a Hosta.
Reply:yes, Hosta.... and a pretty one, at that!.... hosta are usually grown more for their leaves than the flowers, altho there are some varieties wherein the flowers are the best part, being either large, showy or very fragrant.... all the flowers are loved by humming birds, too.... white-edged leaves are very nice on a hosta... but there's so many 'flavors', from yellow to blue to some wild variegations, that it's just hard to choose one.... they become a habit.... like mine..... *smile*..............
Reply:it would be a hosta. these are very common perennials and look great as well as survive harsh winters of -30 degrees fahrenheit.
Reply:I second that!!

Hosta's do great in shade.
