It's before the little msn icon thingy.

On MSN on the contacts lists what does it mean when people have a little orange star/flower before their name?
It means they have recently updated their Windows Live Space.

If they have a little orange start beside their name it basically means they have updated their MSN Space in the last month.


Another way to check if they have updated their msn space is if your on windows live messenger open it up





1)Above add a contact and sort a contact and next to change colour theme is a white box with something blue on it when you hover your mouse over it it says Show Menu


2)Click on'Show Menu' go down to Contacts then Sort Contacts By Then click 'Recently Updated Spaces'

it means they updated their profile or space information


clicking on the yellow star you can see those updates if you have permission

Reply:It means they have recently updated their MSN space (equivilant of myspace), since you last saw it. If you click on them, and veiw their space, the star will disappear until they update again.
Reply:their space and contact details have been updated.If you click on it you will see their information.
Reply:that means that their msn space is updated.
