Where can I name a flower after my grandma ?

Where can I name a flower after my grandma?

Preferably in the USA.

Thank you.

Where can I name a flower after my grandma ?
As far as I know, new cultivars of annuals, perennials, trees, etc. are only named when a new one is developed. The naming is done by the person or company who developed it. I do not know of a way for someone to purchase such naming rights.

You might look into having a bench or structure at a local botanic park dedicated to your grandmother. These are arranged with a donation to the park.
