Reply:There are so many types of flowers these days that come in those colors. Can you be a little more specific? Is it on a bush, a stalk, large or small flowers, is it spikey like bottle brush or single like a rose or camillia? Does the plant have large leaves or small ones, are they bright or dark green, purple? Bougainvilla, as someone suggested above, is a bright fuschia color with few leaves and thorns on the branches. You see them mostly in hanging pots. I'd love to try to help if you can give more information.

Pathos is a plant that is hardy. Just water once a week.





Flowers tend to die more quickly than plants. Mums and carnations last the longest. Maybe it is time to consider silk plants and flowers? Easy care.

a pretty sure fire bet for nice fragrent blooms are the paper white narcissis. many large retail stores stock them in january and february. These plants are really just bulbs that need a moderatly warm enviroment (house temperatures) place them in a saucer with pebbles to hold'em upright and just keep water in the bottom, and in 3 weeks you'll have a bunch of lovely white flowers that are the size of buttons. The only drawback is they only bloom once. just be sure to place them near a window so they get some sunlight.
